Rennsport is a racing simulation for PC designed to provide an ultra-realistic experience and fun to drive. It was founded by game development experts and motorsports enthusiasts to create a virtual racing hub for all racing fans. RENNSPORT aims to inspire with a bold combination of driving physics developed and validated by experts in the automotive industry and combined with custom Unreal Engine 5 graphics.
Starting from scratch, technological advancement and modern software architecture enable RENNSPORT to take the next step in virtual racing experiences. The Unreal Engine 5 creates excellent behind-the-wheel graphics and a wide range of options for user-generated content as an interactive community.
We joined our forces with Competition Company GmbH, a young and ambitious start-up based in Munich (Germany). With the racing simulation RENNSPORT we want to redefine the world of digital motorsport and our ambition is to make something more than just a game!
We believe in a 360-degree, community-driven approach that involves all stakeholders such as competitive sim racers, motorsport fans, casual gamers, car manufacturers etc. In addition, we are setting the stage for new heroes with our top esports competition ESL R1 which attracts the best virtual drivers from around the world! During IEM in Katowice from February 10 – 12, (together with the ESL FACEIT Group (EFG)), we will set the starting point for our open RENNSPORT esports/league system and officially kick-off the first races of ESL R1.

The 2023 calendar consists of two seasons, each culminating with a live, final event and a total prize pool of €500,000. The spring season will kick off with a bang at the free-to-enter IEM Expo, a part of Intel® Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice, on February 10-12 2023. In this first season of ESL R1, 8 partner teams and 4 wild card teams will participate.
